La Bella Vita Branded Hair extensions

All hair extension fittings require a consultation at least 3 days prior to your appointment. A small deposit is required to book an appointment slot. This will be deducted from the cost of your treatment should you choose to proceed, otherwise it is kept as a consultation fee. This does not apply to follow up appointments.

Here at LA Bella Vita we use only the highest possible grade of human hair, which we source from the most premium world wide brands. Including our own brand of Indian Remi hair extensions. We are proud to say that we are an exclusive salon for Gold Class, VIP Salon for Beauty Works and stockists of Remi Cachet hair extensions.

At La Bella Vita, our aim is to supply our clientèle with the highest quality hair extensions available on the market, fitted by one of our extremely skilled hair extension specialists. The process begins with a consultation enabling our team to carefully colour match the client's hair to perfection and choose the best suited method for their hair type. Once the client is fully happy a deposit is then left to secure the booking and an appropriate date for the fitting of the extensions is set. 




Gold Class

Gold Class pre-bonded and micro rings hair is ethically sourced from Indian Temples where the hair is donated by Hindu pilgrims as part of their ‘tonsuring’ tradition.

This is a very special ritual where the donor selflessly gives up the hair as thanks to their god & to reject vanity by shaving the head. The temples sell the hair to raise funds for their upkeep & community projects. Hair is used to also make wigs & filters.

Our hair extensions were named Gold Class for a reason: starting with sourcing amazing quality virgin hair, before being gently processed by hand to create the finest hair.

To have been selected for Gold Class the hair must be remi where the cuticle layers of the hair all lie in the same direction; so it is tangle-free. The hair is also double drawn; where the thickness of the strands are the same at the top as they are at the bottom of the extensions; so they are very healthy. Hair is also free of Henna so the colours are perfect.

Combined with the Gold Class experience & our unique bonding technique; this is where our hair extensions come to life.

 REmi Cachet

Remi Cachet hair is mainly sourced from the southern regions of Russia & Mongolia but this will vary depending on the range. They pay at or above market value for all of our unprocessed human hair braids from those choosing to donate their hair of their own free will.

When the hair arrives at their factory the hair is checked to ensure that it is still braided, this helps them ensure the quality and that the cuticles are all still aligned. Quality inspections are carried out on each braid singularly to ensure the virgin hair is clean, strong, virgin, and meets our strict quality specifications so that only the best braids are selected to be used to produce our hair extensions.

The Elegance Range is well known for being high-quality, double drawn, premium Remy hair. Double drawn hair maintains its thickness from root to tip and provides full-on thickness and volume. As the Elegance range is sourced from the southern regions of Russia and Mongolia it is very smooth and very straight. The Elegance hair is Remi Cachet premium range, but if you want to invest in hair that will last a long time Elegance should be your choice if compatible with your own natural hair. You should expect the Elegance Range to last around 12 months when using the correct and recommended aftercare.

Removal

We strongly recommend that hair extension removal are carried out by a trained specialists, as we can ensure the natural hair is left in optimal condition. Removing the hair can take up to 1-2 hours or more depending on the number or method of extensions the client has fitted. The removal does not include  a wash, blow dry or conditioning treatments, however, this is recommended following a removal process.

    When fitted correctly hair extensions do not cause any damage to the natural hair. In many cases clients have found their hair is actually in better condition after wearing hair extensions as they are using less heat and styling products daily. Aftercare and maintenance is essential to protect your natural hair keep your extensions in pristine condition.

  • How often do I maintain them?

    Depending on method, maintenance is recommended anywhere from every 4 weeks to every 6 months.  


  • What products do i use on them?

    We would only advise the use of La Bella Vita haircare products, All of our products have been tried and tested on extensions and gently care for the extensions. Stay away from shampoo and conditioners that contain sodium and sulphate as these can break down the attachment of some methods. 


  • How long does my hair have to be?

    We can actually fit extensions to hair as short as 4 inches, however, the longer your hair is the more natural the extensions will look. Styling is the most important part when fitting extensions to short hair to ensure you achieve a natural look.     


  • What method is best for me?

    The method of extensions depends on a number of different things, for example: hair density, length and colour. The method will be determined at your consultation prior to fitting.   

  • How long will my extensions last?

    The lifespan of your extensions depends on how well you look after them and maintain them on a regular bases. Timescales vary from 5 months (keratin bonds) - 1 year. Using the correct products will increase the longevity of your extensions.      


  • Can I colour my extensions?

    Yes you can colour extensions, however, remember although extensions are made from human hair they aren't attached to your root so therefore aren't getting the vitamins and oils that you would get from your natural hair so won't repair itself like human hair attached to the root.

What are the best products to use to care for my hair extensions? 

To make sure your natural hair and your extensions maintain their qualities it is important to add both nutrition and moisture. Because hair extensions do not have their own follicles and always lie slightly away from the scalp, they do not share the same natural oils as your natural hair. This makes them even more dependent on added moisture and oils to keep from getting dry and coarse.

A dry climate makes the hair drier, especially during the winter months. The two most important products for giving your natural hair and your extensions the care and moisture they need are sulphate free shampoo and extremely nourishing conditioner. Shampoo gives your hair both nutrition and moisture while conditioner seals the hair strand. Using a hair mask 1-2 times a week is also a great way to give your hair that extra moisture boost. The hair mask, however, does not replace the effect of your conditioner, so always end with conditioner. 

There are many different options available on the market for hair care products. For those with hair extensions, we recommend our in house retail shampoo and conditioner, designed especially for hair extensions. There are a variety of types - dry scalp / greasy scalp / volumising / silkiness and control and more. Something to suit everyone !
